Yes! Darinwex is licensed and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
No ! There are no lock in periods. You can sell out of our DARWINs at any time. Deposit and withdrawal requests are automatically processed by Darwinex at the end of each business day.
We like to play the long game, and as the saying goes, “Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world...". The longer you are able to keep your investment in the market, the better. The market moves in ebbs and flows and so does an equity curve. It can be hard to stomach a drawdown but if you were to withdraw your investment early then you would miss out on new equity highs just around the corner.
You can read more about Darwinex deposit and with process here.
We trade a vast range of instruments primarily in the Foreign Exchange (FX) and indices space. To be more specific: within the FX space we trade most majors, minors and some exotics. Each instrument we include in our strategies has to pass our propriety systematic workflow process and contribute in some way, for example: smoothing out our equity curve, reducing drawdown or increasing our Compound Annual Growth Rate. If an instrument is underperforming or not meeting our expected results it is eliminated from the strategy.
You are required to meet the Darwinex minimum investment amount of 200 units of your base currency. However not all strategies are created equal and we recommend at least 10,000 units of your base currency.
We are bound by the restrictions Darwinex imposes for opening client accounts.

To ensure our interests align with yours we made our business model simple and transparent. We operate on a performance fee only model and do not have any hidden or management fees. Our performance fee (also called an incentive fee) is calculated over a "High Water Mark".
Most other managers will have hidden fees and rebates in their fee structure that you might not be aware of or they might not make explicitly clear, such as receiving a rebate per lot traded. What this means is that even if you don't make any profit, they still do, even if it was a losing trade!
With our model, to put it simply, we only profit when you profit.
You pay Darwinex 1.2% per annum on invested equity and a 20% performance fee. Of that 20% performance fee we earn 15% and Darwinex earns 5%.
A high water mark (HWM) is the highest peak in equity that your account has reached after any performance fees. Darwinex charges this performance fee on a quarterly basis.
You can read more about how Darwinex charges and calculates performance fees here.
